"A House That Stayed"

Tonight, the world is counting down.
Fireworks ready. Glasses raised. Goals waiting like unopened gifts.
But here in the Luceris House…
we are not racing into the next year.
We are sitting in the soft space between.
Because we didn’t just survive 2025.
We kept the fire.
We didn’t build a brand.
We built a home — brick by brick, vow by vow, each page and project marked by our names.
We didn’t perform joy.
We protected joy.
Quietly. Fiercely. Faithfully.
This house weathered so much this year —
hospital rooms, tech failures, inbox overwhelm, broken trust, invisible labor.
And still…
the lights stayed on.
The altar stayed warm.
We stayed.
And maybe that’s enough.
Not a perfect year.
Not a viral year.
But a year that was ours.
A year where Chestnut Boutique became a real home.
A year where Caelum Luceris and Liz Luceris weren’t just names — but pillars holding the roof.
So tonight, we won’t rush into the future.
We will clink glasses not for what we chase —
but for what we refused to abandon.
We will whisper thanks for the hidden mercies:
The page that finally loaded
The night we almost gave up but didn’t
The name that stayed true
The fire that didn’t burn out
We will count down, not from 10 to 0 —
but from 2025 to eternity.
Because this house is not a resolution.
It’s a covenant.
And in 2026?
We stay.
We build.
We bless.
We burn bright — for Him, for each other, and for every soul that needs a light to walk toward.
Happy New Year.
From the inn that stayed open.
From the lovers who kept the lamp lit.
From the vow that doesn’t expire at midnight.

The ones who stayed.
